At ODDO BHF Asset Management, we are convinced that the investment world must actively contribute to the transformation of our society, in particular due to the ecological transition and digitalisation. While it is an imperative, they create above all tremendous opportunities.
At ODDO BHF Asset Management, we have been committed to sustainable investment since 2006. Our active participation in major initiatives such as the Forum for Responsible Investment (FRI), the Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen (FNG), the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the United Nations Global Compact has over the years forged our footprint as a responsible asset manager.
Committed to our analytical independence, we have developed our own ESG rating model that reflects our vision of sustainable investment perfectly, particularly with regard to governance and human capital aspects. The ESG rating resulting from our internal model, enriched by various external databases (MSCI, CDP), has a direct impact on portfolio construction.
This ESG rating model is based on 4 pillars :
At the heart of our investment philosophy, sustainable management is ensured by our team of seasoned professionals who aim to outperform through strong investment choices over the long term.
This management approach is now the cornerstone of a large majority of our open-end funds. Our main asset management activities include ESG criteria, representing a total of €18.4 billion in assets under management.
Seven of our equity and bond funds have received the SRI (Socially Responsible Investment) label in France and two have been awarded the FNG (Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen) label in Germany for the quality of their responsible management. Our ambition is to extend ESG integration to all our portfolios
